Amelia Does is a writer and filmmaker who is currently working on two biography film projects.

Since 2001 she has been compiling original primary research on the life and art of Arthur Lipsett, a Canadian Experimental filmmaker, in order to write his biography.

Amelia is also working on a documentary film for television on Lipsett.

The film is being produced by Public Pictures and will be directed by Martin Lavut. Amelia is also working on a documentary film about John Max, a Canadian photographer. Some of Max’s photos can be seen here.

A recent graduate of the University of Western Ontario’s Film Studies program, Amelia also enjoys creating short films and other projects, including the Parallel Academic Universe Project and the ARTaud School College, a conceptual university.
